Restoration Projects
The Honey Creek Watershed Association has been awarded a Section 319 Nonpoint Source Program Grant!
The 319 grant is sponsored by the US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) and administered Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) to improve water quality by funding projects targeting pollution causes, such as erosion, storm water management, and nutrient reduction.
Honey Creek Stream Bank Repair
Description: Stream bank stabilization and riparian corridor enhancement Location: Honey Creek Preserve, Bethel Township, Miami County, Ohio.
Project Sponsors: City of Tipp City, Miami Soil and Water Conservation District, Miami County Park District, Tri-Cities North Regional Wastewater Authority, Veolia Water NA, Alloway Environmental Testing, City of Huber Heights, Miami Conservancy District, Miami County Pheasants Forever, and Honey Creek Watershed Association.
